Crossroads…

As wetravel through the life that God has given us there will be a time when we will come to a crossroads.  Everyone will experience it at some point in his or her lives.  It can be scary and exciting at the same time.  It gives us the opportunity to further seek God’s will for our life.  I do not see an approaching crossroads and look at in a negative light.  I believe it is a chance to put our faith into action and allow God to work in our lives.

As support raised missionaries we have to rely on God for everything.  For the past 3 years we have seen God provide in some of the most amazing ways.  We have seen our faith grow by leaps and bounds because of His faithfulness to us.  Living on support is not an easy thing to do and we always knew there would be times like these.  We have seen our support account slowly decrease over the past year or so, but every time God will show up and bring His provision.  It is an amazing testimony that over the past three years we have never seen our support account go into the red (or be overdrawn).  Well that changed on Friday, for the first time in over three years our support account dipped into the red and we are overdrawn by approximately $1,800.  While it may bring some questions to us, like is this God closing a door on our work here in Swaziland?  It doesn’t change our faith in Him.  So we choose to wait, seek and trust in Him.

As a family we are approaching this crossroads boldly and confidently.  We may not know what His plans are, but we know that His will shall be done and our only desire is to be obedient to whatever He calls us to do.  We ask that youjoin us in prayer as we seek the Lord during this time.  We pray for His continued provision on our life, we pray for His protection on our family and we pray for His gospel to continue to go forth here in Swaziland and throughout the entire world.

Along with your prayers, we also ask for financial support.  Support to allow us to stay in Swaziland.  Support to allow us to live in our current home.  Support to allow us to minister to the least of these.
