It is hard to believe that it is March and we have lived in Gainesville for 2 months already. Time does fly when you are having fun. And we are having fun and enjoying Georgia. The transition of moving to Georgia and working with Adventures in Missions has gone extremely well. We are getting settled into the house we are renting and Allison is working her magic to make it our home. Besides the crazy winter weather we are having, Gainesville is a good fit for us.

I am adjusting in my role within the AIM office and really love where the Lord has me. I was afraid that working with Swaziland on this side of the ocean would be too much too soon, but I am pleasantly surprised that it has been very smooth and I believe that I am fitting in where the Lord needs me. Living in Swaziland, I took for granted all that it is involved in supporting the field missionaries. Being here, I get to work with a lot of the logistics that take place to support the ministry that is happening on the field. I have been given great perspective on both sides and I know that the Lord will continue to use that for His benefit. Great things are ahead for this ministry, and we are very thankful to still be a part of it.

The transition back to the first world has had its ups and downs and it comes in waves of different emotions. It is still hard to put into words where we are emotionally with leaving Swaziland. That is why we are so thankful for the opportunity to attend a debrief and renewal program at Mission Training International, in Colorado, at the end of this month. This was highly recommended to us by many missionary friends and everyone speaks about how much it helped them with their transition to the States. We all miss Swaziland greatly and look forward to continue to work our way through that.

The girls are continuing home school and they hope to finish the school year sometime in June. We got a little behind with all of the transitions and Allison and the girls are working hard to catch up so they can have a summer break. We are still praying and asking the Lord for direction on what the girls will do next school year; we know that we have some big decisions that need to be made soon. Both Madeline and Emma seem to enjoy the new surroundings and as usual they are very flexible with all the changes going on in their life. We are amazed by this and know that it is the Lord preparing them for big things in the future.

We are learning a lot about being support-raised missionaries that live in the States. The Lord is teaching us daily about living on faith. As things are settling down we now have a clear idea of what our monthly support goal is. Our monthly fund raising goal is $2,500. In January we received $1,920 and in February we received $1,180. Not the trend we expected or wanted to see, but we trust in Him and we do not worry about His provision. We ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with us on this new adventure working with the beautiful Kingdom of Swaziland. If you can help please select the “support me” tab on the left and follow the prompts. There is no contribution too small. Please join us in prayer over our support raising goals. THANKS!!!

Looking back on the past 2 months we can see God’s fingerprints on everything and we know that He has equipped us for this season ahead! We are so thankful for His provision in our life and words cannot express how thankful we are for you and your partnership through prayer and/or finances. Blessings to you and yours.
