Stepping Out.....

I just love the story of Peter stepping out onto the water
to go meet Jesus (Matthew 14:22-33).
The disciples were terrified at first of what they thought was a ghost
walking on the water.
When Jesus called out to them to calm their fears Peter wanted to be
certain it was Jesus.  Peter asked
Jesus that if it is Him to please command him (Peter) to come to Him (Jesus) on
the water.  Jesus' response...."Come".  What an amazing display of faith and
courage to step out of the boat onto nothing but water.  I can't even imagine the thoughts that
were going through Peter's mind as his foot first touched the water and he then
proceeded to walk on top of the water.
While we may not be taking a step out of a boat onto water, God will ask
us to step out.  I pray that this
type of faith and courage are evident in our daily lives here in Swaziland.

We have purchased our plane tickets to come home for a
visit.  We will be departing for
the States on October 23rd and returning to Swaziland on January 23,
2013.  The excitement is starting
to build within the Clyburn family for our visit home.  The main topic of discussion is "where's
the first place we will eat when we arrive"?  Chick-fil-a will be happy to know that it will be our first
stop from the airport.  So now all
of the planning and preparations begin, there are so many things to get settled
and taken care of before we leave 6 weeks from today.  We have already had several requests to speak at various
churches, bible studies, small groups, etc.  We praise the Lord for the opportunity to share.  If you know of any speaking
opportunities please email us at markclyburn@adventures.org.

We are so thankful to everyone who has contributed to
helping us purchase our tickets.  Our
hearts are full of gratitude and we are amazed at everyone's generosity.  While our tickets are purchased they
are not paid for.  As of now, we
have raised about 50% of the ticket prices, so that leaves us with a need of
approximately  $3500.  If you are able to help please visit our
blog at (http://www.theclyburns.myadventures.org/)
and click the support me tab on the left.
We have complete faith that God will provide in His perfect timing.

In Him,

Mark and Allison Clyburn
