Happy New Year

A New Day….

 

Happy New Year from Swaziland!   We are so thankful that we have safely crossed over into 2014.  We love what a new year brings to our lives.  A great time to reflect on everything that God has done over the past year and an opportunity to look forward to what He has in store for the future.

 

On this new day we are grateful for His faithfulness, His provision, His protection and His people.  Our last blog detailed our support account issues and we honestly were not sure what the immediate future held for our family.  However, we did know that God had a plan and because of His faithfulness and His people’s obedience we have received a huge outpouring of prayer and financial support.  Just to see your response we know that it is not of man, God has provided in ways we couldn’t have ever imagined.  We are in awe of the work of His hands.  We have learned that raising support is always a work in process so we ask that you please continue to pray and give.  Please know that we do not take these blessings for granted, if you pray for us and/or financially support us we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  We know that all blessings come from God and it is a sight to see family, friends and the church respond when called on.  THANK YOU.

 

As we look forward to this New Year, we are excited to serve Him here in the beautiful Kingdom of Swaziland.  We are enthusiastic at the prospects of what 2014 holds for our family, for our ministry and for the people of Swaziland.  We have hope because we know the One who holds the future.  We trust that His will shall be done in our lives and in the lives of those we minister to in Swaziland. 

 

While we might not be the resolution type, may we take the steps to make our relationship with Jesus grow deeper and stronger than ever before, to become better husbands/wives, to parent our children as God would, and to love our neighbors as much as we love ourselves.
